Skyscraper Scaffolding is a New York scaffolding crew that works when the city works, which is around the clock. A storm hit your facade at 2am? Permit finally cleared on a Sunday? We’re already on the truck.

About Us
Skyscraper Scaffolding is headquartered at 55 Central Park W, right in the middle of the city we serve. That matters, because scaffolding in New York isn’t like scaffolding anywhere else.
There’s DOB paperwork, tight sidewalks, busy streets, co-op boards, building managers, pedestrians, neighboring properties, and plenty of situations where a small delay can turn into a much bigger project problem.
We’ve built our business around being the crew you can actually reach. Not a call center. Not a voicemail that gets returned Tuesday. If your job needs scaffolding at 4 am because that’s the only window your building super gave you, we’re there.
Most scaffolding companies treat every job the same. We don’t. A brownstone facade repair on a quiet residential block calls for a different approach than a 40-story commercial tower with a construction manager, an engineer, multiple trades, and a DOB inspector all watching the same installation.
Our Services
Sidewalk sheds protect pedestrians while facade, roofing, masonry, and other exterior work takes place above them. We install sheds with the layout, structural requirements, lighting, and signage your project requires.
For crews working directly on building exteriors, supported scaffolding provides a stable working platform at the required elevations.
Swing stages and suspended platforms are commonly used for high-rise facade work, window projects, pointing, painting, and other exterior work where ground-supported scaffolding isn't practical.
Long-haul construction projects need pedestrian protection that can stay in place throughout the project without becoming another problem for the property owner or contractor.
Conditions change throughout a construction project. Equipment gets moved, work areas change, weather affects the site, and different trades may interact with the structure.
Storm damage doesn't care what time it is. Neither does a facade problem, an urgent stabilization requirement, or a project deadline that suddenly moves forward.
Tell us what the site looks like, what work you're doing, what the timeline is, and what's driving the urgency.
For anything beyond a straightforward job, we'll walk the location or review your drawings and project information before quoting.
NYC construction projects come with paperwork, permits, filings, and requirements that can affect your schedule.
Safety isn't something we add at the end of the process. It's part of how the job gets planned from the beginning.
Our relationship doesn't end when the scaffolding is standing. Inspections, adjustments, maintenance, and project changes can all require attention.
When the work is finished, we coordinate teardown and removal so the site can get back to normal.
01.
24/7 means 24/7. If something happens outside normal business hours, you shouldn’t have to wait until morning just to speak to someone.
02.
Borough requirements, busy sidewalks, tight access, building management, DOB processes, and active construction sites all require practical planning.
03.
Your workers, pedestrians, tenants, visitors, and property are all part of the equation. We plan installations around the actual conditions of the site.
04.
A scaffolding delay can hold up multiple trades. We work to turn around quotes quickly and keep installation schedules moving.
05.
Tell us what the site looks like, what work you’re doing, what the timeline is, and what’s driving the urgency.
06.
You’ll know who’s coming, when they’re coming, what the job involves, and what happens next before the truck arrives.
Service Area
We serve all five boroughs from our Manhattan base at 55 Central Park W, New York, NY 10023.
That means we’re familiar with the different types of properties and construction environments you’ll find throughout NYC.
A townhouse in Park Slope isn’t the same project as a commercial property in Midtown. A residential facade repair in Queens isn’t the same as a long-term high-rise project in Manhattan.

It depends on the job, site conditions, scope, and permit status. Once we're cleared to proceed, we move quickly and give you a realistic installation timeline rather than making promises we can't keep.
Yes. We can help you understand the scaffolding and sidewalk shed requirements involved in your project and flag potential issues that could affect scheduling.
Both. Some clients need equipment rental, while others want the entire process handled. We can provide rental, installation, inspection, maintenance, and teardown depending on the project.
Call us. That's what the 24/7 line is for. We don't route emergency calls to a voicemail box and tell you to wait until morning.
Both. We've handled smaller residential projects as well as larger commercial and high-rise work. We adjust the crew, equipment, and approach to the actual scope of the job.
